Regarding the Request
Type of Music
The music I've composed for clients so far are always classical type without electricities, like piano, guitar, orchestral instruments, and some traditional instruments. And the styles range from romantic to atonal contemporary music, but I don't provide the computer music at present.
In addition to composing, I accept orders of arrangements, and sheet music creation(making a clean copy of score) using Finale.
Commission fee
The fee depends on the style of music, length, instrumentation, and the number of notes, because they may affect workload. For example, the tonal music for solo/duo is 10,000 yen per minute, and the atonal music (solo/duo) is 15,000 yen per minute as basic rate. Then, add there another fee to consider the labor and working time if necessary. Even if the piece is short, if it requires a lot of effort, such as a fast tempo and many notes I need to write, I may charge an additional fee.
For ensemble larger than trio(including orchestra), a part creation fee will be added.
Regarding the request of making a clean copy of score with Finale (not my composition), for example the piano score(four to five stave systems per page) or guitar score(six to seven stave systems per page) is 3,000 yen per page. It also depends on the content, please send me by Email or message form.
Requested date and delivery date
The lead time from requested to delivery depends on the type of work and how busy my schedule is. So please contact me by that date around half a year ago. Of course there is possibility that I can start soon, so please try to contact me even if it's within half a year. Regarding the request of making a clean copy of score with Finale, I might do in a comparatively short time, but it also depends on the work.
Payment due date
I will send an invoice within one week of the completed delivery. Then, please deposit into my bank account.
